TEN (10) MOBILE LIGHT TOWERS

This RFI from industry will allow the Government to identify interested sources capable of meeting all requirements. The information sought will be used for market reseach and planning purposes only.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES/PROPOSALS. The Government will not award a contract on the basis of this RFI, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted by respondents. All proprietary or sensitive corporate information shall be clearly marked.

This announcement in no way obligates or commits the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the Government as a result of information submitted in response to this RFI.

The United States Border Patrol (USBP) San Diego Sector (SDC), Fleet Management requires ten (10) new Mobile LED Light Towers. The contractor shall meet the following requirements. 

Engine Requirements

• Liquid cooled, two (2) cylinder diesel engine
• EPA Tier 4 Final
• .635 liter displacement
• Air Filter: Dry type cartridge

-  Fuel Consumption: 0.25 gph

-  165 hour run time

-  1,000 hour oil service interval

Floodlights

• Minimum four (4) 320W LEDs; 188,000 total lumens
• Efficiency: 147 LPW
• Coverage at .5 ft-c: 24,060 ft squared
• IP68 Led modules, IP65 drivers
• Fixture mounted drivers

Trailer

• Removable and foldable tongue, 48” long
• Tubular steel frame
• 2” ball hitch
• Three (3) 1,200 lb. leveling jacks which will lock into a stowed position
• Dot approved lighting, Tail, side, brake and directional lights
• 2,200 lb. leaf spring axle
• Tires: 175/80D13 6 ply
