TRANSFORMERS FOR NAVAL STATION (NAVSTA) ROTA, SPAIN

1. ACTION:

This is a Pre-solicitation Notice of the Government’s intent to issue a solicitation for the procurement of furniture. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.

2. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION:

NAVSTA Rota, Spain – Housing Department has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of the following items: (275) 2000-watt and (10) 1000-watt step-up & down transformers.

3. DELIVERY ADDRESS:

The Contractor shall provide 2000-watt and 1000-watt step-up & down transformers on a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) basis and shall be responsible for all delivery logistics to the specified location designated by the Housing Dept. at NAVSTA Rota.

4. DELIVERY DATE:

45 days from the Date of Award

5. INTENDED ACQUISITION STRATEGY:

This requirement is for a commercial product and falls below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). In accordance with Revolutionary Far Overhaul (RFO) Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services," Clause 12.201-1(c)(2) “Simplified Procedures”, the Government intends to solicit quotes directly from a limited number of sources (at least three).

The Government does not intend to issue a separate, public solicitation for this specific requirement. No formal solicitation document is available at this time.
