TRUNNION ROTARY TABLE

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Phillips Corporation (CAGE Code 3MPQ0, a Large Business under the contemplated NAICS code), to meet the Government’s requirement for a Trunnion Rotary Table for an existing Haas Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine (HAAS VF-5). The authority found at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) applies to this acquisition, which states "Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available." Based on preliminary market research efforts, the Contracting Officer has determined that only one source, Phillips Corporation, is reasonably available to meet the subject commercial requirement. NAICS code 333517, Machine Tool Manufacturing, will be used to meet the subject requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 12:00 PM CST on 12 September 2025. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
