    The U.S. Army Contracting Command New Jersey, on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify contractors who can supply a wide range of tungsten heavy alloy products, but not limited to any of the following commercial materials and alloys. The intention is to procure these products on a competitive basis. These may be ordered as sintered or work hardened to some requirement specified in the future orders. Requirements including but not limited to yield strength, hardness, and elongation. Work hardening may be achieved through swaging, forging, or any other type of current / future process to achieved desired material properties. The requirements may also include postprocessing operations such as cut to length, grinding, and near-net machining. For near-net or finished machined components, drawings will be provided in the individual future orders. The Tungsten Heavy Alloy classes listed below along with specifications for enhanced material properties: Tungsten Heavy Alloy Class II per: ASTM B777 Tungsten Heavy Alloy Class III per: ASTM B777 Tungsten Heavy Alloy Class IV per: ASMT B777 Near-Net Tungsten Heavy Alloy Blanks Finished Machined Components Interested parties are strongly encouraged to submit a capabilities statement with the following information: Ability to provide the above tungsten heavy alloy products Overview of the range of tungsten heavy alloy products that you can supply. Ability to provide items sintered or work hardened Request that all responses include the following information: Full Company Name (Legal Entity): Cage Code: Website (if applicable): Contact Information: Business Size Status. If small, what type of concern? Contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation of requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov.
