Ft. (ABOA): 11,700 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 11,700 Space Type: office Parking Spaces (Total): 53 Parking Spaces (Surface): 53 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 84 Firm Term: 36 Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year access. Security Standard Level III and ALL security requirements and approvals are to be determined by DEA. DEA cannot be collocated with other Federal, State, local government agencies or private firms whose primary clientele have ties or are involved to criminal elements. DEA is not to be located near agencies providing probation and/or parole services, halfway houses, drug abuse counseling/rehab programs, and similar social agencies and welfare type programs, as well as private law firms representing drug offenders. 10/2023 DEA building entrances/exits are not be located within the 1,000 feet minimum boundary of a Drug-free zone or 1,000 walkable feet from of school/park/daycare boundary. Locations within 1000 walkable feet of residential housing, hotels/motels, shopping centers, stadiums/arenas, or areas where drug activities are prevalent, may be acceptable but may not pose an unacceptable risk of surveillance of DEA facilities or operations. DEA will assess the security of DEA operations during the site selection/market survey process. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease [is] required. Offered space shall not be in the [1-percent-annual chance] floodplain (formerly referred to as [“100-year” floodplain). Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ). The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in [Austin, TX], that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
