ITEM DESCRIPTION

The Signal Data Processor is an essential component of the avionics system, computing the relative altitude and range of threats from nearby transponder-equipped aircraft. It displays all traffic alerts and proximity alerts and includes the ability to connect an external heading indicator to better track traffic intruders during turns.

INTEREST

All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 21 Oct 2025 to Terrence Wideman via email (terrence.wideman.2@us.af.mil). The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

Impediment to Competition:

The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Avidyne Corporation (CAGE 1SVC7). The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Avidyne Corporation is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the Signal Data Processor performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to procure this item and ensure compatibility with the equipment.
