GENERAL GUIDELINES: This Sources Sought (SS) is solely for the identification of potential business sources for the above-stated purchase for market research and planning purposes. Any response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for any and all expenses associated with responding to this SS. The Government will not reimburse responders for any presentations, marketing efforts, or data related to their responses. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any responder's input resulting from this SS. All information received in response to this RFI that is appropriately marked "proprietary" or "competition sensitive" will be handled accordingly. Only non-classified information shall be provided in any response. Copies of submitted information may be reproduced for Government review. Responses to this SS will not be returned.
The Government is interested in responses from all responsible businesses, including small business concerns, disadvantaged business concerns, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns, and Historically Underutilized Business zone (HUBZone) small business concerns.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this SS is to conduct market research to determine the existence and interest of prospective qualified business sources that can accomplish the manufacture and delivery of ~800 Sanders Technology Advanced Reduced Instructions Set Computer (STAR) XIII Mission Computers (MC), Part Number 697960-13. The USAF currently anticipates the following estimated quantities with delivery schedule by Fiscal Year (FY):
FY29: 127
FY30: 224
FY31: 200
FY32: 211
FY33: 35
RESPONSES: All prospective offerors shall submit a capabilities package that clearly demonstrates company expertise, capabilities, and experience with the manufacture and delivery of STAR XIII MC, Part Number 697960-13. The capabilities package shall discuss specific examples of work performed as it directly pertains to this requirement as well as ability to meet the USAF's anticipated delivery schedule.
Responses shall be submitted electronically to the Government no later than noon (Eastern Standard Time), 03 September 2025. If additional time is needed, contact the below Contracting Officer within three (3) days of receipt of this inquiry.
