Q - What are you using for an antenna for this need?  

A - We are not using an antenna but use a resonant cavity.

See attached FA700025Q0130 X-Band Microwave Pulse Power Amplifier Combined Synopsis Solicitation for specific instructions. 

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial product prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consititutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 10th Contracting Squadron at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract to a manufacturer or authorized reseller capable of providing an X-Band Microwave Pulse Power Amplifier meeting the salient characteristics identified in Attachment 1 - FA700025Q0130 Salient Characteristcs. Quotes submitted in response to this solicitation must be valid though 30 September 2025.
