CGC HEALY - Auxilary Diesel Generator - Turbocharger
1.1
Background: During ADG post overhaul assessment/operational checks, Turbo/blower unit exhibited excessively high vibrations at blade pass frequency during acceleration, with recorded levels of 42.62 g's (p-p) and 0.8185 in/sec (peak) which exceeds acceptable limits. Immediate replacement is required to prevent further damage to the ADG system.
