Crane Smart Equipment

USCGC Healy

1. GENERAL

1.1 Background

The Coast Guard is seeking to procure 03 Dual winch and 02 Main winch Crane Smart Load Management Interface (LMI) kits to replace the existing and outdated LMI system and install the new computer system and calibrate with a load test onboard USCGC Healy. The new LMI system shall integrate with the existing cranes.

1. 1. Scope

The contractor shall provide the brand name Crane Smart components:

1. QTY: 05 Color-touch screen display panel, with audible and visual alarms at panel, dedicated output for solenoid valve(s) [if installed on crane], mag mount antenna, mounting bracket, and power cable. P/N: 9005-0013
2. QTY: 05 Main winch anti-2-block switch, counterweight, chain, and mounting hardware. P/N: 9012-0000
3. QTY: 03 Boom angle transmitter with cable reel boom length system. P/N: 900-1085B
4. QTY: 03 Main winch load cell for 7/8” wire rope. P/N: 9004-0020
5. QTY: 02 Main winch load cell for ½” – ¾” wire rope. P/N: 9004-3010
6. QTY: 02 Main boom angle transmitters with the pre-programming of load charts. P/N: 900-1030. Shows length, radius, tip height and percentage of maximum load (LMI-LAT).
7. QTY: 03 Auxiliary winch load cell for ½” – ¾” wire rope. P/N: 9004-3011
8. QTY: 03 Auxiliary winch anti-2-block switches, counterweights, chains, and mounting hardware. P/N: 9012-0001
9. QTY: 02 Auxiliary boom angle transmitters with the pre-programming of load charts. P/N: 900-1031. Shows length, radius, tip height and percentage of maximum load (LMI-LAT)
