    This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The result of this solicitation will be a commercial, firm-fixed price stand-alone single award contract.

    Solicitation number 47QMCB26R0006 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for United States Forces Korea (USFK) Travel Management Company services.

    This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. As stated in United States Force Korea (USFK) Regulation 700-19, dated 28 August 2012, 1-5, "USFK policy mandates use of local contractors in the ROK whenever possible for procurement." Within 1-4 it states, "[Invited Contractor] (IC) designations shall be made upon consultation with the ROK Government and both IC designations (and Technical Representative (TR) determinations shall be restricted to cases where performance by a Korean firm is not practical due to: (1) Security considerations, (2) The technical qualifications of the contractor involved, (3) The unavailability of materials or services required by US standards, or (4) Limitations of US law." In accordance with this regulation, the Government reserves the right to award this requirement to an IC if no Korean firm meets the technical requirements of the solicitation.
