This is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research revealed that City of Papillion is the only source who can meet this need. The City of Papillion is the response entity when 911 is called from the Papillion CLC, which is located in Papillion Nebraska. Thus, it is impossible for any other company to provide this service since the City of Papillion is the only source who can meet this need. The City of Papillion are the only 911 responders who services this location. The Veterans who reside in PCLC have unplanned health emergencies that occur from time to time in this leased space that is staffed by VA employees. If they can t contact 911 for emergency response, they are taking a risk that could jeopardize the health, well being and possibly life of a Veteran in VA care. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 621910 (Ambulance Services) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is V225 (Transportation/Travel/Relocation Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Ambulance). While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement.
