    Description

Update, 20 August 2025: The solicitation has been amended in response to the below question received. The Statement of Work (SOW) was updated to clarify Paragraph 3.4.  All changes to the SOW are in red text in the attachment N6852025Q0039 P00001.

Question received: We’d like to understand is the quote request for 1x annual preventative maintenance performed for 1x IPSEN and 1x GM Vacuum Furnace or is the quote request for a bi-annual (2x) preventative maintenances performed for 1x IPSEN and 1x GM Vacuum Furnace?

Government Response: The requirement is for bi-annual preventative maintenance performed on both furnaces.  Each furnace would be serviced during each visit, with 2 visits occurring per year.

The Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group (PG), in support of the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida, intends to procure maintenance services for one (1) IPSEN Vacuum Furnace and one (1) GM Vacuum Furnace.  The Contractor shall perform maintenance services which include scheduled preventative maintenance and shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals necessary for proper servicing and maintenance of the equipment.

Please see attached N6852025Q0039 and its associated attachments for the full requirement description.

All quotes shall be submitted via email to Ryan Cram at ryan.m.cram.mil@us.navy.mil.

All quotes shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on 25 August 2025.

Solicitation closing date/time is firm; quotes received after the deadline will not be accepted. Your quote will only be evaluated based on the information provided.  The award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the requirement.  This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.  A determination by the Government not to accept the proposal for not meeting the minimum requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract.
