VETERINARY URINE ANALYZER

The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (HdHCB), Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-W), Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas 76544-4752, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Idexx Laboratories, Inc under authority of FAR § 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.  This is for the supply purchase of a two (2) Veterinary Urine Analyzers to support the Oklahoma Branch (OKB), Veterinary Readiness Activity, Fort Hood Public Health Command, West, Fort Sill, Oklahoma 73505-1702.  Award will be on or about 19 August 2025.  The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334513, “Instruments And Related Products Manufacturing For Measuring, Displaying, And Controlling Industrial Process Variables”. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
