VMWARE SOFTWARE LICENSES

Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Carahsoft Technology Corp., 11493 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 100, Reston, VA 20190 (Cage Code: 1P3C5) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. FRC South West, NAS North Island has a requirement for VMWare Software Licensing, including software releases, revisions and patches as developed for the licensing period for both Industrial Manufacturing System (IMS) and Structural Mechanical Analysis (SMAL) Labs located at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW). Carahsoft Technology Corp has been awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract N66001-24-A-0034 by the Department of Defense (DoD) for VMware software. As the designated sole-source vendor, Carahsoft is the exclusive provider authorized to supply, upgrade, and maintain VMware software under this agreement. For this reason, the Government intends to procure this repair on a sole source basis from Carahsoft Technology Corp (Cage: 1P3C5)
