The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract as a sole source to Carahsoft Corp (CAGE CODE: 1P3C5), for the procurement of VCF-CLD-FND-A -- VMware Cloud Foundation AnnualBSO 19 – and ANS-VMW-FW-B -- VMware vDefend Firewall (Bundle) in support of the NAWCAD Lakehurst, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ 08733. VMWare is required for continued operations for the digital infrastructure used by test and engineering across the command. This requirement is a component of the Department of War (DoW) Enterprise Service Initiative (ESI), a mandatory source per DFARS 208.7402. . Carahsoft is the only company currently listed on the ESI website for VMWare (4VRA5).

The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a contract.
