NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, BUT RATHER A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME.

The Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing heavy crane rental with operator services as detailed within Attachment 1.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 – All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a small business size standard of $19M.

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential vendors for solicitation planning purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this Sources Sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.

RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
1. Business Name and Address
2. Point of Contact to include E-Mail Address and Telephone Number
3. Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI)
4. Business Size and Type: 8(a), HUBZone, Women-owned, Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, Small Business, Large Businesses, etc.

Questions regarding this notice shall be submitted in writing via electronic mail, referencing 140R6026Q0102 – MTE Crane Service, to the Contract Specialist, no later than 11:00 a.m. (MDT), July 20, 2026.

All responses shall be submitted no later than 3:00 PM (MDT) on July 23, 2026. Responses shall be submitted via electronic mail to the Contract Specialist at monte_baird@ios.doi.gov.

When it is determined that a formal solicitation will be issued, a Solicitation will be appropriately posted to the GPE.

No proposals or quotes shall be accepted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
