    Description

    This contract provides water testing services for a regimen of analysis required by the Maryland Department of the Environment. This analysis is required in order to maintain Maryland State Permits necessary to operate the Fort Detrick Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. The contractor will be required to pick up samples at the Water and Wastewater Treatment plants on a scheduled basis, transport the samples to their testing lab, conduct the analysis and then provide the results in a written report to the Government.

    This is a base plus four twelve-month contract.

    PWS Paragraph 1.7.8.: The contractor must obtain and maintain MDE and EPA Laboratory Certification. Laboratories performing radiological analysis must hold certification from the Laboratory Accreditation Bureau and NELAC. Proof of certification must be provided during the contract solicitation process and before the issuance of any optional periods. If the certification is lost during contract execution, the contractor must promptly notify the Government for appropriate action
