The Government is seeking sources for Market Research ONLY to support the services listed below for which the applicable NAICS code is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The Product Supply Code (PSC) will be B516. The size standard for small business is $19,000,000.00.

The project will be solicited as a Request for Proposals contract.

All responses will be analyzed in order to determine the appropriate strategy for a potential future acquisition. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential small business sources including certified HUBZone small business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business, Veteran-Owned small business, Certified 8(a) small business, Women-Owned small business, etc. Other than Small Business may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate significant Small Business interest.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS:

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide genetic data and analysis on fish and the technical interpretation thereof except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract.

 OBJECTIVES: Provide genetic data and analysis on fish raised at the San Francisco District’s facilities to increase genetic diversity and avoid mating of close relatives:

• Genotype data for all fish that are potential broodstock for the spawning season.
• Spawning/breeding matrices derived from the genotype data for all potential Coho salmon broodstock.
• Genotype data and analysis for a limited number of natural area-origin fish for evaluation as potential broodstock.
• Execute genetic analysis to provide allocation lists of Coho broodstock to be retained at the hatchery for spawning, and to be released into mu

CAPABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Interested parties must have qualified personnel with recent knowledge and experiences as well as:  Provide genetic data and analysis on fish raised at the San Francisco District’s facilities to increase genetic diversity and avoid mating of close relatives.
Provide at least three (3) examples with a maximum of three (3) pages with the following information:

A brief description of the project(s),

• Customer name
• Timeliness of performance
• Customer satisfaction
• List of equipment used, and
• Dollar value of the project

RESULTS INFORMATION:
Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Firms responding to this source sought announcement, who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be used to help the Government make the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought announcement.
