    Sole Source Intent: The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), the Metrology & Simulation Division located at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract on a sole source basis with X-Ray Sales & Associates, LLC., 482 W Arrow Hwy Unit L, San Dimas, CA 91773-2960 to provide preventative maintenance and inspection services for a quantity of two x-ray emitter systems. X-Ray Sales & Associates LLC, X-Ray Sales and Associates LLC. is the original equipment provider of the XRA 160kV and 450kV x-ray systems, and support components. As the vendor, X-Ray Sales and Associates LLC. is the sole factory‑authorized provider of maintenance services and the manufacturer of all replacement parts necessary to support the proprietary peripherals and control systems for these X‑ray units. The anticipated Period of Performance with options is 01 April 2026 through 31 March 2031. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR 12.102(a) Contracting officers may solicit if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only once source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code is 811210 with a standard size of $34M.

    THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  To protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information, all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement.
