Department of Veterans Affairs The Department of Veterans Affairs is considering awarding a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for the Mirecc Admin, an existing lease, located in Durham, NC. The current lease is expiring January 31, 2026. Requirement State: North Carolina City: Durham Delineated Area: North Medford Rd to Front Street East Hillandale Rd to Croasdaile Dr South Croasdaile Dr to Cole Mill Rd West Cole Mill Rd to Medford Rd   Minimum ABOA:    9900 Maximum ABOA:    12900 Space Type: Administrative  All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before February 1, 2026. Lease term will be 20 years; 5-year firm fixed price with an additional 15 one-year soft terms.   The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise, the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 3022 Croasdaile Drive, Durham, NC 27705.  The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the Mirecc Succeeding Lease should relocate.
