NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:  Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to the Town of Amherst Police Department, 500 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst, NY 14228, for use of the department s indoor training facility, 4220 Bailey Avenue, Amherst, NY 14226, to include the shooting range (full day) and simulation room (half day) by Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Center Police (3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215) and (222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020), to include four (4) option years.   NAICS Code is 713990 All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries with a Small Business Size Standard of $9 Million. The classification code is X1EA Lease/Rental of Ammunition Facilities. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by March 19, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Taylor.Richter@va.gov.
