This project will include new north and east breakwaters, approach floats, a new gangway, and demolition of the existing structures and utilities. The breakwater, approach floats, and gangways are performance specified for the fabricator's final design. The anchoring system for the floats in fully designed as well as the float utilities. Utility infrastructure includes dock water systems, dock fire systems, dock sewer systems, sewer forcemain, and electrical. The upland utility work includes temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC); existing utility protection, and site restoration, including paving and landscaping. The project mitigation requirements include the demolition of two timber piers located within one mile of the site. This project is anticipated to be completed in phases over two years.To access the bid opportunity, download the associated documents on this webpage.Prevailing Wage Provision: The workers of all contractors and subcontractors on all Port "public works" as defined by RCW 39.04.010, shall be paid the "prevailing rate of wage" including "usual benefits" and overtime, paid in the locality as those terms are defined by Chapter 39.12 RCW. The contractor is responsible for obtaining and completing all required government forms and submitting same to the proper authorities.
