    The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 091106 titled Replace Air Handler Unit #3 - Fine Arts until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 17, 2026 the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All work on this Contract is to be completed by August 15, 2027. The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 091106, titled Replace Air Handling Unit #3 - Fine Arts and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: PCB and Asbestos Abatement Selective Mechanical and Electrical Demo Duct Cleaning Installation of Air Handling Unit and associated piping, electrical work and controls Testing, Adjusting and Balancing The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 091106 titled Replace Air Handler Unit #3 – Fine Arts until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 17, 2026 the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is February 10, 2026 by 5:00pm. A project walk through will be held on February 5, 2026 at 10:00 am. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
