The City of South Jordan is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified contractors to provide microsurfacing treatments on various city streets for the 2026 construction season.The work on these locations generally includes, but is not limited to; sweeping; application of microsurfacing asphalt binder and crack seal binder as per UDOT specifications (UDOT Special Provision Section 02735S). A type II microsurfacing treatment will be placed in the cul-de-sac areas and a Type III microsurfacing treatment will be placed on all other areas as outlined on the maps; rolling joints as needed (per city engineer); crack blowing/cleaning; crack sealing (including along lip of curb), clean roadway surface of anything that will keep the micro surface form bonding properly including thermos plastic or other dirt and grime, replace existing pavement marking paint as is in place or as outlined in striping plans and any other materials, transport, and labor necessary to complete job based on construction plans and UDOT Standards.Work for All Schedules shall start after July 1 and must be completed by September 1, 2026.The OWNER anticipates that a Notice to Proceed will be given on July 1, 2026, but reserves the right to change such date.Bids will be received until the closing date and time listed on Bonfire, the State of Utah’s Procurement website. All bids shall be submitted online at Bonfire. It is the sole responsibility of the BIDDER to submit the Bid before the scheduled time.
