SLED Opportunity · NEW YORK · PUBLIC HEALTH SOLUTIONS
AI Summary
NYC Public Health Solutions seeks a vendor to manage a cloud-based ArcGIS Enterprise MVP pilot for emergency preparedness. The 3-year proof of concept aims to migrate on-premises GIS to cloud, enhancing emergency response capabilities and resource management.
The Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response (OEPR) was created to promote the NYC Health Department’s and NYC's ability to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from health emergencies. OEPR is responsible for coordinating agency-wide emergency preparedness planning, exercises and training, evaluation of incident response and exercise performance as well as coordinating with community stakeholders, city, state, and federal partners. OEPR aims to establish a cloud instance of ArcGIS Enterprise with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) pilot that is driven by emergency use cases. This initiative is related to the ongoing Teams Common Operating Picture (COP) project, which integrates communication, situational awareness, file storage, and data sharing into a single location during an Incident Command System (ICS) emergency response. The NYC Health Department is seeking to establish and maintain an instance of ArcGIS Enterprise in the cloud as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) pilot through a managed services contract. The MVP will be in place for up to 3 years as a proof of concept (POC) with the first year being managed by the selected vendor. This will enable the NYC Health Department to determine the viability of moving the on-premises ArcGIS Enterprise into the cloud at full scale. The MVP supported by the selected vendor will serve to alleviate current resource constraints of ArcGIS administration on NYC Health Department staff.
