Bids will be opened and publicly read in the Polk County Purchasing Office at 3:00 p.m. on the deadline date. A copy of the Bid Packet may be obtained by contacting the Polk County Purchasing Office at (936)327-6849, option 2, or from the “Bid Notices & Proposals” tab of the County’s website – www.polktx.gov. Proposals will be reviewed by the Polk County Commissioners Court and considered in a regular session to be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at 410 East Church Street, Livingston, TX 77351. The Polk County Commissioners Court reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any or all proposals, or to accept the proposal deemed to serve the best interest of the County and reserves the right to negotiate any final contract which may result from a successful proposal.
