Work also includes starting the hanging baskets and planter inserts as plugs in a greenhouse environment for at least 2 months prior to being installed on site, fertilizing and watering every other day (weekends and holidays as well) from the time they are installed until middle of September (spring and fall flowers will be watered by the city), installation of the baskets and inserts in May as well as removal at the end of the season, application of pesticides or flower replacement if necessary, sanitizing and storage of the empty hanging baskets during the off season.
