Project Scope The project consists of roof replacement and related building improvements at three City-owned golf course maintenance facilities: Idyl Wyld Golf Course Remove and replace the existing membrane roof system with a new membrane roof system. Clean, repair, and repoint exterior masonry walls. Remove designated windows and one door and infill openings with new CMU and glass block. Paint all exterior masonry walls. Fox Creek Golf Course Remove and replace the existing shingle roof. Replace damaged roof substrate boards as required. Replace damaged wood fascia boards. Whispering Willows Golf Course Remove the existing metal roof and soffit panels. Repair damaged structural framing at soffit corners. Install a new metal roof system, insulation, interior liner panels, fascia, soffit panels, gutters, and downspouts. Important Dates June 29, 2026 – Bid documents available. July 9, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – Mandatory pre-bid meeting at Kirksey Recreation Center, 15100 Hubbard Street, Livonia, MI 48154, followed by a site walkthrough. July 14, 2026 – Deadline for written questions. Questions must be emailed to GKandah@Livonia.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. July 21, 2026, 2:00 p.m. – Bid submission deadline. Proposals must be uploaded to the MITN website in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. Fall 2026 – Anticipated project completion. Bid Requirements Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, in the form of a bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form issued by an approved surety company. No physical bid submissions will be accepted. All bids must be submitted electronically through the MITN website in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. Late bids will not be considered. The City reserves the right to award a single contract for all work or separate contracts for individual project locations. Bidders may also bid on one, two, or three locations. No bidder may withdraw its proposal for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days following the bid opening. The City of Livonia reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and accept the proposal determined to be in the City's best interest. The City also reserves the right to delete portions of the work due to unforeseen circumstances without additional compensation. Acceptance of a bid does not constitute a binding agreement.
