    Initiative Hearings Information - Ballot Measure No. 1 (23RCF2) An Act restoring campaign contribution limits for campaigns for state and local office The Office of the Lt. Governor & Division of Elections has scheduled the following hearings on Ballot Measure No. 1 - Restoring Alaska’s Campaign Finance Limits Initiative.  Ballot Measure No. 1 is scheduled to appear on the Primary Election Ballot on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Each public hearing will consist of a statement of support from the proponents of the ballot measure and follow with a statement of opposition from a group opposing the measure. The public will then be allowed to call in for the remainder of the hearing to leave public testimony.  Meetings may conclude early if there are no remaining members of the public signed up to testify.
