    Description

The City of Bettendorf, Iowa, is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide solid waste collection services at City facilities and parks as specified. The contract period will be from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with the option to extend up to an additional two (2) years, with satisfactory performance. A pricing proposal is to be submitted for solid waste collections services as specified, with the rates remaining in effect for the contract period. Prices submitted shall be inclusive of all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, tools, transportation services, disposal, billing, and all incidentals necessary for the completion of all work covered by the contract documents. Failure to submit all required documents will disqualify the proposal as being non-responsive. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The award will be based upon the cumulative value of all three (3) years. If at any time during the contract period the City determines that service is unsatisfactory, the City reserves the right to cancel the contract. The vendor will be notified of such action in writing, and the cancellation will be effective immediately. If cancellation of services is made, the City will offer other vendors the opportunity to provide the described services at their original proposal price. All proposals should be submitted via the City's Ionwave e-bidding software. No other forms of submission will be accepted.
