Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2026 WEST REMINGTON STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS project will be received until 10:00 AM local time on July 16, 2026, at the City Engineer¿s Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. Utility Contractor and sub-contractors must be licensed in the State of GA. Contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. The project involves removal of existing curb & gutter, stormwater main, & stormwater inlets; installation of curb and gutter, 24¿ stormwater main, inlets, asphalt replacement; & performing other necessary and appurtenant work to complete the project as otherwise described, enumerated and shown in the specifications & plans. A complete set of plans, specs, & bid documents may be viewed at the City Engineer¿s Office (see address above) and obtained by emailing a request to Engineering.Bids@thomasville.org. Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bonds each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked ¿2026 WEST REMINGTON STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS¿ & must be delivered before the time specified.
