    NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The University of Utah (U Facilities) is requesting proposals for the construction of the following project: PROJECT NAME: Lot Redesign Ft Douglas Museum UNIVERSITY PROJECT #23019 Project Description: Construct a new parking lot west of the Ft Douglas museum. The parking lot will include a storm tech system that will tie into the existing storm drain. New historical lights for the parking lot. Striping the lots to meet university standards. This area is in a historical part of campus. Contractor must follow the guidelines provided by Logan Simpson. If any historical artifact is found contractor must notify the University right away. Contractor is responsible for watering the surrounding trees during the length of the work. Must submit SWPPP plan to SLC. Construction cost is estimated at: $500,000.00 The Request for Proposals (RFP) documents, including the selection requirements and the selection schedule, will be available at 3:00 PM on June 2, 2026 on the BidNet Direct website. For questions regarding this project, please submit them through the BidNet Direct website. No others are to be contacted regarding this project. The procurement shall be under the Value Based Selection RFP method. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Meeting and site visit will be held at Corner of Chase St and Hempstead Rd. Salt Lake City, UT 84113 on June 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM . All prime contractors wishing to submit on this project must attend this meeting. The Management Plan and Statement of Qualifications must be submitted to U Facilities via the BidNet Direct website no later than 2:00 PM on June 16, 2026 . Submittals received after the specified time will not be accepted. The Cost Proposal, Bid Bond, and Value Engineering Proposals are to be submitted to U Facilities via the BidNet Direct website no later than 2:00 PM on June 16, 2026 . The contractor is responsible for ensuring that delivery to U Facilities of all submittals is made by the deadlines established by the Project Schedule. The contractor shall comply with and require all of its subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the University of Utah on the AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form, or equivalent, shall accompany the bid submitted to U Facilities via the BidNet Direct website. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the University.
