    Description

    The City of Goodyear, (“City”) is seeking qualified Job Order Contractors (“JOC Contractor” or “Contractor”) to provide Job Order Contracting (JOC) services for the following types of work: Water & Wastewater ServicesThe City may award multiple contracts under this procurement, with up to five (5) qualified contractor(s) being awarded contracts. This JOC Contract will have an initial term of three (3) years, with two (2) one-year extensions available at the City’s sole discretion.During the term of the Master Contract, Work is performed as a series of individual Job Orders. Each Job Order initiated by the City is defined cooperatively by the City and JOC Contractor. A scope, schedule and price are agreed upon, and the JOC Contractor is directed to proceed with the work. The price for each Job Order will be negotiated as a not-to-exceed Guaranteed Maximum Price.The Project consists of providing the following services: installation of new, replacement of, improvements to, modifications to, or repair of water systems, wastewater systems, stormwater systems, non-potable/remediated or reclaimed systems, wells, reservoirs and tanks, lift/pump/booster/pressure reducing stations, odor control facilities, disinfection systems, process equipment, electrical service, fiber, security systems, lighting and instrumentation systems, SCADA and controls, and mechanical systems; asphalt overlay and pavement rehabilitation; new and/or restoration of pavement and associated landscaping, including all associated hardscape elements; general site work; drainage structures; artwork; and security systems. The scope also includes general activities, including: testing and disinfection services; obtaining, or assisting City in obtaining permits; responding to emergency work requests and any other utility infrastructure and water services improvements located within City’s rights-of-way, water, wastewater or stormwater systems or facilities.The general responsibilities of the JOC Contractor are outlined in the attached pro forma Job Order Contract Master Agreement. Specific responsibilities will be set forth in each individual Job Order. No individual Job Order shall exceed $5,000,000.00. The Contract does not guarantee a minimum amount or work. The Contract has an annual limit of $15,000,000; however, the actual amount of work to be performed each year will be based on budget availability.
