    Sealed bids addressed to the City of College Station – Purchasing Division, will be received for: Library Drop Boxes Project Bid Number 26-069 until 2:00 p.m. CT, May 7, 2026, after which time all qualified bids will be opened and read aloud at City Hall – Purchasing Division. Interested parties may attend the opening virtually via Microsoft Teams Meeting. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring bids are successfully uploaded to the Bidding Portal prior to the specified submission deadline. Bids not submitted by the time the Bidding Portal officially closes this ITB will not be accepted by any other means. Questions and inquiries about this bid should be submitted in writing via the Q&A feature available online via the Brazos Valley e-Marketplace (“Bidding Portal”). The deadline for submitting written requests for clarification is May 1, 2026 @ 2:00 PM. CT. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The City of College Station invites qualified contractors to submit bids for Three Library Drop Boxes which will be purchased by the City of College Station for installation at three different site locations. This bid is to install those three drop boxes after pouring concrete pads at two of the sites. Site 1: Lincoln Recreation Center 1000 Eleanor St., College Station, Texas 77840 Site 2: Bob & Wanda Meyer Senior & Community Center 2275 Dartmouth St., College Station, Texas 77840 Site 3: HEB Tower Point 949 William D. Fitch Parkway, College Station, Texas 7845 A concrete pad will need to be installed at the Lincoln Center and Meyer Center sites as per the specifications listed below. The HEB Tower Point site will not require a new concrete pad as the drop box will be installed on an existing concrete sidewalk. See attached Google Earth images for layout locations for each site. Funding for the Lincoln Center and Meyer Center sites is provided via Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. This means that all related Federal purchasing guidelines must be met for the purchase and installation of these drop box units, including adherence to the Davis Bacon Act requirements for payroll documentation.
