Background

Project work includes North East Middle School is located at 200 E Cecil Ave, North East, MD. North East High School is located at 300 Irishtown Rd, North East, MD 21901. The proposed project is for the co-locating of the two schools into one building to be located on land adjacent to the existing high school that was recently acquired by Cecil County Public Schools and incorporated into the high school property. The new school will be constructed on the western portion of the site, south of Irishtown Road. During construction, the existing high school will remain operational.
