    Description

    The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of Independent Public Accountant (IPA) to perform the annual audit(s) of the Department of Health’s (DOH) financial statements for the Fiscal Years 2026, 2027, 2028, & 2029. Qualified IPAs in good standing with the Office of the State Auditor are requested to submit proposals. This audit shall be performed in accordance with applicable Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statements, Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and Requirements for Contracting and Conducting Audits of Agencies ( NMAC 2.2.2).
