    Description

    Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide 511 Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS) Services to the Department of Transportation (hereinafter, the Department) as further described in this eRFP. The Department operates Georgia's 511 Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS). Travelers can obtain real time traffic and traveler information across the state via apps for both the iOS and Android platforms, the 511ga website, or by any phone system. Users can view cameras, see incident and construction information, and see traffic speeds throughout the state of Georgia. Travelers can also call 511 to request motorist assistance 24 hours a day from either Highway Emergency Response Operator (HERO) or Coordinated Highway Assistance and Maintenance Program (CHAMP) depending on their location. This is an open agency Contract, therefore all quantities listed are estimates and there are no guaranteed minimum or maximum number of services to be provided, nor total dollar amount commitment by the Department. For technical questions related to the use of Team Georgia Marketplace, suppliers have access to phone support through the DOAS Customer Service Help Desk at 404-657-6000, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM excluding State Holidays or any other day state offices are closed such as furlough days or closings in response to inclement weather. Please contact the Team Georgia Marketplace Help Desk in ample time to resolve the technical issue in order that you may submit your response to the solicitation by the deadline.
