CAT-213FAC-M: Reconstruction of the Ashokan HeadworksReplace 110+ year old gates and valves in the Ashokan Headworks. Upgrade headworks electrical and SCADA. Provide new crane hoists and gantry cranes in the Upper Gate Chamber (UGC). Clean and repair Stop Shutter Grooves in the UGC and Screen Chamber (SC) and provide new stop shutters. Replace Traveling Screens in the SC. Construct new 36" Release Conduit pipeline between the Lower Gate Chamber and Ashokan Release Channel for making Community Releases per the Ashokan Interim Release Protocol (IRP), an agreement DEP entered into with NYSDEC on behalf of local communities. Relocate existing NYPA utilities in alignment of new Release Conduit. Construct Interim Spillway Notch to reduce pool levels and create void space in the reservoir also to comply with the IRP.This Competitive Sealed Bid (“RFx") is being released through PASSPort, New York City’s online procurement portal.
