    Description

    The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-08393 (Lot 5A, Block 700), consisting of approximately 13,169 square feet, at Homer Airport for an additional five (5) years. Applicant: Adventure Airways, Inc. Annual rent: $2,857.67 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Maintenance of a facility for storage of supplies and waiting lounge for guests all in conjunction with fly-in fishing trips; also, guiding/outfitting; sightseeing, aircraft tiedown rentals; Part 135 operations to include air cargo and people; continued use and maintenance of a dock; flight instruction. This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., August 10, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
