Copies of the Project Manual are available through IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net/SourcingEvents.aspx?SourceType=1 or can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee online at https://projectbids.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution public jobs plan room; additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 1:00PM CT on April 30, 2026, at the Johnson County Administration Building located at 111 S Cherry Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061. Representation is required by General Contractors/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather near the east entrance on Cherry Street. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on May 7, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. A1: Refer to Addendum No. 2 for clarifying photo. The horizontal joints at shelf angles are shown on the elevation plans. The existing joint at shelf angles is currently a sealant joint with a metal flashing extending +/- 1/4” in front of the sealant. A continuous bead of sealant is above and below the metal flashing.
