Given that there are similar neighborhood infill sites in communities throughout Ulster County, the County would like this project to serve as a pilot project to demonstrate how other vacant, abandoned, or otherwise underutilized sites can be transformed into new housing opportunities. As such, it is expected that, through a collaboration with the chosen developer, the County would retain ownership of the designs and construction documents so as to replicate the project in other locations.
