    Description

    The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a pre-qualified list of providers of agriculture equipment, supplies and feed, and services for schools and departments on an as needed basis throughout the School District of Manatee County. Schools and departments may choose any awarded supplier to provide the supplies and equipment. The District currently has eight (8) high schools, nine (9) middle schools, and two (2) elementary schools that use a combination of agriculture programs. These programs include but are not limited to horticulture, plants, animals, and agritechnology product/services.Specifications and the quality standards of service set forth in this bid.This contract shall not be subcontracted to another firm or individual.This is not an all or none bid. The District intends to award this solicitation to all responsive and responsible bidder(s) as best meets the needs of the District. It is anticipated that the bidder(s) who propose the best pricing may be utilized in a larger capacity, however the District may choose any awarded supplier to provide these services that best meets its needs. This may include but is not limited to pricing, scheduling, etc.Contract Value: No guarantee is given or implied as to the total dollar value of this bid.NOTE: The Contractor must agree that during a declared disaster situation that any bid items with a markup will be billed at actual cost without any mark-up permitted.
