    ****THIS IS FOR A PURCHASE NOT A LEASE OF EQUIPMENT**** The County of Riverside Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office (RSO) and the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT), is requesting quotes for one (1) AirWarden® Essentials Organization Package, fifteen (15) AirWarden® Essentials Zone subscriptions, and sixteen (16) remote ID receiver V2’s as detailed in this Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT), a vital division of the Emergency Operations Bureau (EOB), encompasses the Dive Team, the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Team, the Mounted Enforcement Detail, and dedicated Volunteer Search and Rescue Teams. The UAS Team operates across the expansive Riverside County, functioning as a versatile multi-disciplinary unit. Their capabilities are far-reaching, as they are deployed for a wide array of critical missions, including urgent searches, meticulous crime scene documentation, HAZMAT responses, and heroic search and rescue operations. The team assists with locating missing persons, apprehending barricaded individuals, managing traffic collisions, and supporting SWAT operations and disaster responses. They also play a crucial role during special events and act as first responders using advanced drone technology. In light of emerging global threats, the UAS Team has been entrusted with the important responsibility of deploying a UAS detection system, reinforcing their commitment to public safety and community protection. AirWarden® Essentials is an advanced drone detection system crafted by AeroDefense, employing a sophisticated blend of technologies to effectively locate and track both drones and their operators. With its capability to detect drones through various means, including the ability to read publicly broadcast remote ID signals, this innovative system ensures unparalleled situational awareness.
