    Description

    This Scope of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for vendors responding to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the annual inspection, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler systems. The selected vendor will ensure that all systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as relevant National fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

     

    In addition to performing the items above, the selected vendor shall perform

    necessary maintenance as identified during inspections and testing.

     

    1. Replace defective or non-compliant sprinkler heads, valves, and other components with appropriate materials in accordance with NFPA codes.

    2. Ensure that all systems are free from physical damage, leaks, and corrosion.

    3. Provide preventative maintenance as outlined in NFPA 25 guidelines.

     

    3.4. Documentation

    - Provide a detailed inspection report following each visit, including:

      - Description of findings and any issues encountered

      - Recommendations for repairs or improvements

      - Maintenance records and test results

      - Compliance with NFPA guidelines and local codes

    - Ensure all records are maintained and submitted to the appropriate authorities.

     

    4. Frequency

    - Annual inspection, maintenance, and testing to be conducted once a year, with additional inspections or tests performed as required or indicated by system performance or regulatory changes.

     

    5. Compliance and Standards

    All services must adhere to the latest NFPA standards (especially NFPA 25) and local fire codes. The vendor will be responsible for staying informed of any changes to these regulations.
