    The County of Santa Clara Procurement Department is accepting electronic bids PRIOR to 3:00PM on June 15, 2026 for ITB-PRC-FY26-0708 As-Needed Steam and Condensate Systems Repairs Services, in accordance with the Bid Documents on file for the Work in the Procurement Department. This is Public Work and will require Prevailing Wages to be paid. THE WORK The Work will consist of as‑needed steam and condensate systems repairs at various locations for the Facilities and Fleet Department (FAF) and the County of Santa Clara Health System (CSCHS). The successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies required to perform the work as specified herein. BID SUBMITTAL Bids must be submitted through Biddingo. ITB-PRC-FY26-0708, As‑Needed Steam and Condensate Systems Repairs Services Due: June 15, 2026, PRIOR to 3:00 P.M. The Contractor is responsible for uploading the bid to Biddingo and ensuring that the original BID BOND is received in-office by the due date indicated above. BIDDER’S SECURITY 1. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier’s check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items. For the purpose of the security for this bid, the total aggregate amount is equal to the Contract Sum of Five Million Four Hundred Thousand dollars ($5,400,000). 2. The check or bond must be made payable to “The County of Santa Clara.” 3. When submitting a bond, a complete, executed original bid bond is required for a bid to be responsive. Bonds must be on Bidders Security Bond form provided in the Bid Response Package. Bonds require notarization, wet ink signature from the principal and surety, and power of attorney. Bonds must include a wet ink surety seal or embossed stamp on the Bidders Security Bond form and the power of attorney from the surety. Failure to provide a complete, executed original bid bond prior to the bid deadline, shall constitute a Non-Responsive Bid.
