Bids may be delivered by mail or in-person delivery only. Bids submitted via email, fax, or any other method will not be accepted. Late bids will be returned unopened regardless of the reason for lateness. Bidders assume the risk of delays in the mail or in the handling of the mail by City Hall employees. Please note that Amesbury City Hall will be closed on April 20, 2026 for the Patriots' Day holiday. Bid documents are available below as a related document. An optional, but highly encouraged, pre-bid walkthrough will take place at Amesbury Town Park (140 Friend Street) on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:00 am. All requests for clarification and any questions about information contained in bid documents must be directed to Rachel Billings in writing at billingsr@amesburyma.gov by no later than 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Answers to all substantive questions will be put in writing and supplied in the form of an addendum emailed to all plan holders by no later than 11:00 am on Friday, April 17, 2026. The City of Amesbury reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or take whatever action is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
