    Description

    State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as "SUNY”) is soliciting proposals to provide and install all labor and materials as required to construct a new structural steel equipment platform on the existing low flat roof of the SUNY at Stony Brook, Southampton Campus, Library Building. This work will support the ongoing boiler replacement at Atlantic Hall (adjacent building). Work includes but is not limited to: new structural steel equipment platform; reinforcement of the existing roof structure (interior); incidental roofing work to install the new equipment platform; and rigging of new equipment. The contractor shall coordinate all of their work with ongoing work being completed by the University, as herein described delivered NET FOB Destination in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook bid# 25/26-059MC and Exhibits. There will be a one-time, MANDATORY site visit for perspective bidders scheduled for March 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM SHARP at STONY BROOK SOUTHAMPTON CAMPUS (25 Tuckahoe Rd, Southampton NY 11968) Library, East side, 1st Floor. The question period closes on: April 1, 2026 at 12 PM. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
