    Description

    The Board of County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County, Maryland (hereafter known as the Owner) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from aviation consulting firms to provide professional planning, environmental, engineering, architectural, and construction phase services at Bay Bridge Airport (W29). The selected firm will provide the Owner with assistance in implementing airport improvement and maintenance projects over the next five (5) years. Projects may include, but are not limited to, those included in the current 5-Year Airport Capital Improvement Program (ACIP), and involve north airfield apron expansion, and additional projects which may come up within the contract period. The required services to be provided by the selected firm shall include all aspects of planning, design, architectural, and environmental services as follows: The consultant will be responsible for assisting the Owner in applying for and obtaining State and Federal funding and preparing necessary documentation for the reporting of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals and accomplishments. The selected firm will provide the Owner with full-service aviation consulting capabilities and be available on an on-call basis. The consultant must be knowledgeable about and comply with all pertinent local, State, and Federal laws and guidelines. Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) regulations and criteria is required.
