INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids, in duplicate, addressed to Board of Directors, Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 48A, will be received at the office of BGE, Inc., 10777 Westheimer, Suite 500; Houston, Texas, 77042 (Phone: 281-558-8700) OR electronically through www.civcastusa.com, until 2:00 PM Local Time, Thursday, March 19, 2026, at which time all bids will be opened and publicly read at the office of BGE, Inc. and through Microsoft Teams. The Call-in number is (832) 680-2579 and the Conference ID is 693 446 377# for the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary or incidental to “Construction of Peach Harvest Parkway Street Dedication Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer Facilities and Reinforced Concrete Paving for Brazoria County MUD No. 48A, Brazoria County, Texas.”

 

Scope of Project:

 

1. 350 LF of 8-inch, 3,739 LF of 12-inch PVC water line and all appurtenances
2. 325 LF of 8-inch, 25 LF of 12-inch, 1,750 LF of 15-inch, 150 LF of 24-inch,

25 LF of 27-inch PVC sanitary sewer line and all appurtenances

3. 1,500 LF of 24-inch, 535 LF of 30-inch, 382 LF of 36-inch, 761 LF of 42-inch,

327 LF of 48-inch, 593 LF of 54-inch, 106 LF of 60-inch, 678 LF of 66-inch storm sewer pipe and all appurtenances

4. 107 LF of 5'x2', 244 LF of 5'x3', 322 LF of 6'x5', 1,174 LF of 7'x5' RCB storm sewer pipe and all appurtenances
5. 1,046 SY of 8-inch, 19,822 SY of 10-inch reinforced concrete pavement

 

Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened.

A Bidder submitting Electronic Bids must submit its Bid and bid securities in compliance with Owner’s Order Adopting Section 49.2731 Electronic Bidding Rules and all Bids and bid securities must be submitted through www.civcastusa.com. By submitting a Bid, Bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed or agreed to through the use of an Electronic Signature in accordance with Owner’s Electronic Signature Rules for Construction Contracts.

 

A cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
